What happens when you get in touch

Your first appointment is a conversation, not a procedure. We ask what has been happening, what you are worried about and what you want fixed. If you are comfortable, we examine; if you are not, we do not.

You leave with a written plan — what treatment is needed, in what order, with which sedation option, and what it costs. Only then do we book anything.

Worth telling us up front

  • Roughly how long it has been since your last visit — no judgement attached
  • What specifically worries you: the needle, the sounds, the loss of control, a past experience
  • Whether you are currently in pain, which changes how quickly we see you
  • Any medical conditions and every medication you take
  • Whether you have had sedation or a general anesthetic before, and how it went

Prefer to call?

Many anxious patients would rather speak to a person than fill in a form. That is completely fine — call us on (313) 385-4500 during office hours.
